Why Suncamper

Suncamper has been making motorhomes in Australia for 50 years, from a single factory in Thornleigh, NSW. Commercial vehicles have been built alongside that range since the 1990s.

Heritage

Built in Sydney since 1977.

Suncamper is Australian-owned and operated. Founded in 1977, we design and build for Australia's conditions. Commercial work has included showrooms, clinics, offices, fleets and one-off specialty vehicles, from straightforward fitouts to complex builds. Each one starts with your brief.

Cabinetmakers, plumbers, electricians and the drawing office work on staff at Thornleigh. Composite bodies are CNC-cut and fitted in-house. The design, the drawings and the fitout stay in the factory, to the same construction standards as our retail motorhomes.

In 1989, Keith Harrison purchased the business and built it into a full-scale motorhome manufacturer. Cameron Harrison has been owner and director since 2022.

After-sales

A vehicle off the road costs the operation.

Every Suncamper Commercial vehicle is covered by a 12 month manufacturer's warranty on the build. For fleet, rental and multi-unit orders, extended cover can be agreed in writing as part of your supply agreement, with terms matched to how the vehicle will be used, the kilometres it will cover and the number of units you order. The chassis and OEM components such as appliances and air conditioning carry their own manufacturer warranties, set by each manufacturer. We can help you choose the right chassis and talk you through its warranty before you commit, and we confirm exactly what applies to your build before you sign.
